education which parade the wrong notion: “Go to school, have a good grade, get
a good job” is what is creating the artificial unemployment in the world. Having
quality education is the right foundation. Education brings out the
intelligence in you and should equip you to get the best out of your internal
deposit. But a balanced education should empower us to be self-reliant. An
educated person is civilized and a civilized person should be able to create
solution to his problems. The truth is that many countries have gone back to
the original design. They are promoting talent and supporting creative
entrepreneurship but our country is just waking up. It is our responsibility to
make this country a better place. It is not the responsibility of the
government alone. It is the responsibility all. Most times we make it look as
if it is that of our government alone. We are the government. We are the heads
the families. It our fathers and brothers that are in government. We have parts
to play to give our children a balanced education. Our homes should be the moral
revival centers. We will occupy the government seats in the nearest future. If
we are morally balanced to solve our problems, it will do us good. Change
begins with me. We have to create the future we desire to see, and it depends
on what begin to do today.
In the original design of
the designer of mankind, He made every human being with two mains natural
business engagement, thus:
TALENT:
Your talent is your gift from God for your wealth creation. You just need to
discover your gift, develop it and turn it into job skill and design a business
structure around it. The moment you have a business structure around it, you
have become an employer of labour. Your business will now begin to employ
people even you. Wizkid did the same thing. He started working on his gift
right from when he was eleven years old. He can never complain of unemployment.
Alibaba, Jay Jay Okocha, Basket Mouth did the same and the list is endless.
These guys can never look for job because they discovered their life work and
worked hard to refine it into a skill.

CALLING:
This
is simply purpose. Purpose is the problem we are created to solve for God’s
sake. It is different from talent. Talent is the gift God gave us for our own
profiting. Purpose is for God’s profiting. God expect every one of us to get
involved in serving purpose but He do not expect every one of us to engage in
it full time. He called some to engage full time. For instance, Bishop David
Oyedepo is called to engage in serving purpose full time but He expect people
to support the mission with what they earn from their gifts. Another example is
me; I engage in running an NGO full time as a discovered calling and God expects
other people to support the mission from what they earn from their gifts and
their business. I still have my own gift which God has given to me to help my
service. We are all created to contribute for change. We must be wise enough to
understand how we are created to function. Socrates said; “Know Thyself”. It is
lack of self-discovery that is the main cause of youths’ unemployment. People’s ability to walk with the shoe designed
for them is the main problem. We are all created to solve particular problem.
Sometimes God allow us pass through ugly experience because he wants us to
solve problem in that line. our ugly experience can be the stepping stone to
our glory. That was the experience of Joseph in Egypt. Our ugly experience can be the problem we are created to solve.
