EXTRAORDINARY LIFE

Your life should be a PLUS not a MINUS. Living to add value not to take value away from people is the real essence of living.

Every deep positive insight that can add positive value to humanity comes from the spiritual faculty. The spiritual faculty is the creative faculty. It is where all great inventions that have added value to the world came from. The principle of extraordinary life is a spiritual concept from the spiritual faculty revealing the type of life God the father of the spirit world wants us to live by. Extraordinary life according to the revelation of the spirit is living for others to live to the glory of God. This is exactly the kind of live Jesus came to model for us. The original essence of Jesus sojourn on earth is to teach us how to live. Jesus is a model of extraordinary life. He sacrificed His life for posterity. Throughout His short stay in life, He went about doing good, sharing love and kindness by healing the sick, raising the dead and helping the downtrodden. He was not meant to live on earth; He was an example of extraordinary living sent by God to model the kind of life God expect from us. We are made to be the models of Jesus’ character as His disciples. That means we should be discipled (trained) to live like Him. That is the true essence of spiritual growth. This principle of extraordinary life is the insight behind MISSIONART ORGANIZATION OF CHILD EDUCATION AND TRAINING (MOCET). God has mandated us to sensitize people to live extraordinary life. That is the life of contribution, solution and being a blessing to our community and nations. The greatest commandment Jesus gave us is to love God with all our heart and to love our neighbours just He loved us. That means if you live only for your family and relatives, you are living an ordinary life. When you help someone for what you want to gain in return, you live an ordinary life. Extraordinary life is giving help to someone who is not related to you by flesh, when that help is centered on supernatural love which is to the glory of God. We are one by our spiritual birth. We are all from one spiritual father but from different fleshly fathers. God is our spiritual father that is why He wants us to love our neighbor for His sake. Jesus came to unite us in one spiritual body. That is why the moment you become born again you enter God spiritual family. Supernatural love is number one fruit of the spirit.

Two types of love

The core of Jesus life and message is love. Love can be categorized under two; the natural love and supernatural love. Natural love is the love we have for our wife, children, friends and relatives while supernatural love is the love we have for our neighbors for the sake of God. Your neighbor is anyone that is close to you wherever you are whether you have met the person before or not. That is to say that if you reside in Lagos and you travel to Kano for business trip, right from the time you move from your house to board the flight from the airport, anyone you come across is your neighbor. Loving and caring and thinking of how you can be a blessing to those in need in your own little way for God’s sake is supernatural love. Jesus painted a picture of supernatural love with the parable of Good Samaritan. The Good Samaritan took care of the wounded man he never knew. He saw the need of that wounded man and volunteered to lend a helping hand for God’s glory.

Activate favour in your life  by being part of  life changers,  fighting child poverty,  supplying food and multiplying scholarship with LOVE CULTURE SEED (LCS)

 You can observe what is going on around the globe in recent times. People are giving their lives in suicide bombing for others to die. They are doing that because they belong to the kingdom of darkness and they are committed to the mission of the master of darkness, devil. Their mission is to steal, kill and to destroy. On the contrary, those that belong to the kingdom of light have a mission to give abundant life. We are supposed to give out our substance, like their time, talent and treasury for others to live. The Father of light, our Master Jesus gave His life for us to have a better life.  Every time we hear the news of massive death by bombing perpetrated by agents of darkness, evil doers, we yell in fear and pity. The truth is that; we have to do the contrary. We have to do good work because that is where we belong. God is calling us to wake up to our responsibility of massive good work as the agents of light. Every one of us should get involved to missionary work. We are missionaries by divine purpose. We are social entrepreneurs.  Missionary work is our real assignment from above. It is not for some set of people. It is for all of us who believe in the mission of the Master of light. The early Christian religion believers understood this truth vividly. They gave their lives to mission. They invested in supporting missionary work. They were committed to missionary work. They understood divine purpose. Take for instance David Livingstone, Mary Slessor and many others just to mention but a few who came on missionary work to Africa. They gave their all. They gave their lives and they got massive financial support from people who participate in missionary work with their treasure. Today, we have been mandated and inspired to build missionaries who will volunteer for humanitarian service in Africa starting from Nigeria. He gave us the assignment of gathering, educating and inspiring people for this crucial divine purpose. He assigned us to build a charity oriented society through MOCET Poverty Alleviation Academy.  Missionary work is simply doing things that bring joy to God’s heart. It is doing things that will express the love of God to humanity and bring glory to God. It is doing things that make life better for those in dire need. God is love. He is charity. He is peace. He is kind. He is a helper to those in need. He delights in our joy and prosperity. He hates suffering. He is not happy seeing His children suffering. Those children in orphanage homes, under the bridge, in the street, in the refugee camps that need care and support, He wants us to give them support. He wants us to always remember the downtrodden whenever we are eating, enjoying the little He has given to us. When He saves us, He automatically called us to missionary work. He wants us to do things that are attributed to His character and His heart desires because we represent Him here on earth. Missionary work makes us relevant to God. The moment you get involved in God’s business, He will become fully involved in your own business. He noted this assignment in Ephesians 2:10; “For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” And 1 Corinthians 3:9 noted also; “For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building”

God wants us to be the change and transformers of our society. We are the miracle givers not miracle seekers. We should not only preach good news to the poor, we should be the good news to them. We should be the change we expect to see in our society. We should be the help that will cause the poor to testify. Mother Teresa said; “Do not wait for leaders, do it alone, person to person”. By these words, she is charging us to be the solution we expect to see in our society. He did the same by her lifestyle when she was alive. Her life is enough motivation to us. We are all called for missionary work. You can be a missionary by supporting missionary work with your money.

CREATING A HOME FULL OF LOVE

An extract from my e-book titled: HOW TO RAISE HIGHLY INTELLIGENT CHILDREN. It is an e-book every parent must read.

Children need love and feel incomplete without it. M.F. Ashley Montagu, an anthropologist wrote; “What the human organism requires most for its development is a nutrient of love; the source of virtually all health is in the experience of love especially within the first six years of life”. The researcher further concluded; “Children suffer serious crippling effect when exposed to an inadequate diet of love”. For a family to create a home full of love there should be a strong love between mother and father. Every ingredient of true relationship which is sharing, caring, understanding, respect, communication, reassurance must not be missing. The love that exists between the couple is the love that reflects on the children. It will be difficult for a family lacking in matrimonial love to produce enviable children. I discovered that parents with sincere love for God find it easy to love everybody around them. That is to say that the love for God reflects on your love for your children and your neighbours. The love of God teaches us how to love supernaturally. So, the foundation of true love is the love of God.

 It is required of you to plan regular time together as family. Married couple also need to plan time alone together. Keep the romance in your marriage alive by regularly expressing affection for each other instead of constantly finding fault, look for ways each day to praise your spouse and children. You need to strike a balance here. Be kind to them and at the same time be firm in administering discipline to them when they go contrary to the right values. Share jokes with your children. Share smiles. Create time for affectionate chat. Play with them and make your home quixotic and lively.

Tell your children that you love them. One psychologist once observed that “children are a bit like some flowers. Just as these little plants turn towards the sun to receive light and warmth, children look to their parents for love and for reassurance that they are valued members of the family”. If you help your family develop a love for each other, your family life will improve. Love is a perfect bond of union (Colossians 3:4). Children feel fulfilled and complete when love and peace exist in their living environment. Their natural intelligence manifests when groomed in a home glowing with true affection. So, make your home an atmosphere of true love.
